FOMI is a maritime industry pageant of international standards which uses beauty queens as role models to advocate greater participation of women in maritime careers. FOMI is a brand of Girls Go-To-Sea Campaign Initiative, a non-governmental, non-profit organization that champions gender inclusivity and women empowerment in the maritime industry. FOMI was founded in July 2016.
The aims and objectives of FOMI are:
I. To discover, groom and promote models, aspiring models and interested young women who want to become beauty queens of international standards!
II. To give your beauty a meaning and a purpose by refocusing and channeling your beauty for social impact!
Hurray!!! It's Season 10 of Face Of Maritime International (FOMI)!
Interesting activities are lined up from June to Sept 2025 to mark our 10th Anniversary.
Meanwhile, the race for who becomes the 10th Face of Maritime International (FOMI) has also begun with registration currently ongoing for interested contestants.

Winners Functions and Pet-projects:
I. Crowned Winner: To Champion Girls Go-To-Sea Campaign as pet-project (GGOTSEC) by organising maritime career talks to female secondary school students.
II. 1st Runner Up: To organise Maritime Career Mentorship Program (M-CAMP) for young and aspiring maritime professionals.
III. 2nd Runner Up: To Organise and lead schools, students and interested groups on maritime tourism and excursions programs.
FOMI Current Queens
Queen Roselyn is an indigene of Ondo state. She represented the Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC) in Face Of Maritime International Season 9 and won it at the age of 25. She is dark in complexion and stands 5.8 feet tall.
She is a fashion designer and holds OND in Business Administration. Her favourite colour is white, her hobbies are singing and dress-styling, while her philosophy is "We grow by lifting others".
Queen Olaide is an indigene of Ogun state. She represented the L.T.T Coastal and Marine Services Ltd in FOMI Season 9 and emerged the First Runner Up known as FOMI Ambassador at the age of 20. She is chocolate in complexion and stands 6 feet tall.
She is a model and fashion designer, and holds SSCE. Her favourite colour is yellow, her hobby is traveling while her philosophy is "Live and let's live".
Queen Mira is a native of Auchi in Edo state. She represented the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy (FMMBE) in FOMI Season 9 and emerged the Second Runner up known as FOMI Queen Tourism at the age of 22. She is fair in complexion and stands 5.6 feet tall.
She is a hairstylist and holds SSCE. Her favourite colour is yellow, her hobbies are dancing and cooking while she dislikes being taken for granted.
